Banu Aydoğan took part in the establishment of Magic Box, Turkey's first private television channel and was part of the team that pioneered the expansion of private sector broadcasting in Turkey. After working in news and program production management at Star TV and ATV, she worked as a C Level executive at every stage of broadcasting. 
 
She worked as Corporate Communications Director at Koç Holding, which is listed in Fortune Global 500, and Akbank, which has repeatedly been ranked as Turkey's most valuable bank brand in BrandFinance lists.
 
Her areas of focus include Leadership Communication, Crisis Communication, Reputation Management, Strategic Communication, Restructuring Communication, Change Management, Social Impact, Corporate Culture Management, Brand Strategy & Corporate Positioning and Sustainability.
 
While living in the USA, she continues to work as a strategic communication consultant, which she started in 2015.
 
Banu Aydoğan is the founder of Keypoint Strategy & Communication Consultancy, which provides 360-degree strategic communication consultancy to companies from different sectors such as banking, retail, automotive, healthcare, tourism and agriculture.

 

Aydoğan is a council member of the Council for Inclusive Capitalism, founded by leading figures in the world economy such as Lynn Forester De Rothschild, Darren Walker and Rajiv Shah.
 
She is a member of the Board of Directors and Board of Trustees of WWF Turkey, one of the world's largest non-governmental organizations. 
 
Banu Aydoğan is the co-founder of KeyProactive, a new generation management consulting organization that provides integrated consulting services with the goal of sustainable growth. 
 
Aydoğan gives seminars on the social impacts of climate change. 
 
She writes articles on communication strategies and corporate culture & employee engagement for PY Magazine, one of the most popular magazines in Turkey.
 
Aydoğan participated in URAK International Competitiveness Research Institute's Intercity Competitiveness Index Studies.
 
Banu Aydoğan pioneered the establishment of the Climate Network in Turkey through WWF Turkey. The Climate Network acts in line with the principles of climate justice and just transition to limit the global temperature increase to 1.5 degrees Celsius compared to the pre-industrialization period, advocates for effective solutions to combat the climate crisis, and is an active party in the development of Turkey's climate policies. 
 
Aydoğan has received national and global awards in the fields of "Reputation and Brand Management", "Corporate Sustainability", "Corporate Culture & Employee Engagement" and "Social Responsibility". 

Banu Aydoğan is the winner of the "Business Woman of the Year" award at the US-based Stevie Awards, one of the world's most prestigious awards and the only global award program covering all areas of the business world.
 
She graduated from Istanbul University, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Communication and Radio-TV-Cinema departments.
 
She speaks English, German, Turkish and her mother tongue Crimean Tatar.
